built from two joined shipping containers, this cabin houses 4 occupants. the designers salvaged the shipping containers and connected them to increase the home’s living area. one of the containers houses the home’s living room complete with a wood burning stove.

Perhaps the ugliest mall ever, the Redding Downtown Mall was created in the 70s by roofing over a bunch of existing buildings and streets, and then giving the interior a gloss of cement. They finally got around to removing most of the roof this summer.
